Like most online stores, you are probably already taking advantage of Google Shopping and the great promotional opportunities it affords your products. However, for many start-up retailers, it can be intimidating to appear on these pages and have larger, more established stores appear in the same area with listings that are often enhanced with Seller Ratings:

Appearing on a growing number of Google Shopping results as the US heavyweight turns its attention to providing quality store listings, Google proactively sources as many review feeds as it can find for a store, or more accurately, feeds that are recognized as providing reliable content, then displays corresponding review ratings against a store’s products in its Google Shopping results. For smaller stores, this can be pretty scary because really, how exactly can you expect a customer to click through to your site, when everyone else in your Google Shopping results listings has several hundred reviews, all with very high ratings?

The good news for these retailers is that review feeds from Trustpilot subscribed stores are now indexed by Google Shopping, which means that as customers start to write Trustpilot reviews for your store, you can look forward to seeing them appear next to your products in the Google Shopping results. Ok, so it might take some time to harvest the same number of reviews as your competitors (the Mailbeez Trustpilot module can help you with that by generating up to 10 x more ratings than the default Trustpilot email system), but at least you are now on a level playing field, and physical size aside, can put out a big store image, safe in the knowledge that you have made a significant investment in the success of your store.
